Melvin Andrew Kilpatrick

Melvin Andrew Kilpatrick, 78, of Landrum passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Hospice House of The Carolina Foothills.  He was the son of the late Homer C. and Isabell Moore Kilpatrick and husband of Frances Williams Kilpatrick.

He was a member at  First Baptist Church of Gowensville and retired from Hyder Farms.

In addition to his wife is survived by a daughter, Shirley Lanning of Landrum; a step-son, Jimmy Williams of Greer; a brother, Charles Kilpatrick of Campobello; two sisters, Lois Gosnell of Inman, Ann Sullivan of Campobello; two grandchildren; thirteen step-grandchildren and two great grandchildren and 21 step great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 3:00-4:00pm Friday, June 12, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Gowensville .  Funeral services will follow at 4:00pm at the church conducted by Dr. Chad Rickenbaker and Rev. Bruce Schmidt. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
