Jimmie "Bo" Bobo, 79, of Spartanburg entered into Heaven on May 4, 2016. He was the son of the late Bernard and Bessie Sanders Bobo and husband of Julia Candler.
He retired from Firestone and enjoyed working at the Flounder Fish Camp for over 30 years. He was a member of Dependent Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Candler Bobo; four children, Pam Toney and husband Ken of Boiling Springs, SC, J.W. Bobo of Campobello, Beth Burrell and husband Kevin of Inman and Jamie Bobo and wife Rebecca of Cleveland, TN; two brothers, Sam Bobo of Union and Wayne Bobo and wife Gayle of Whitmire; a sister, Matrel Mosley of Union; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Jimmie Donald Bobo; a granddaughter, Katelyn Bobo; five brothers and a sister.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:45 am Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Dependent Baptist Church, 791 Windmill Hill Road, Inman, SC 29349. Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm at the church conducted by Dr. Joe Geddes, Jamie Bobo and Lee Toney. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery in Union, SC.
