Michael C Atkins

Michael Coy Atkins, 63, of Campobello passed away January 7, 2018 at his home.  He was the son of Mamie Rhoda Brown Atkins and the late Marvin Ivo Atkins and husband of Heather Zoe Taylor Atkins.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gowensville and was a self-employed salesman with Atkins and Sons.

In addition to his Wife and Mother, he is survived by a son, J. C. Atkins (Anna); a daughter, Rhetta Atkins and Fiancée Eric West; a sister, Martha Jean Turner (Keith) a sister-in-law, Susan Hall Atkins and two grandchildren, Allison & Lillian Atkins.  He was predeceased by a brother, Joey M Atkins.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Gowensville conducted by Rev. Chad Rickenbaker and Rev. Bruce Schmidt.  The body will be placed in the church at 10:00am for public viewing.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will follow after the committal in the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Gowensville Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund; 5650 SC 14, Landrum, SC  29356.
