Robert William Goforth

Robert William Goforth, 56, of 8414 Hwy 9 Green Creek passed away September 12, 2016.  He was a native of Inman, SC.  He was the son of Tommy and Peggy Fuller Goforth.

He is survived by his parents; his partner in life, Patricia Wright; sister Christian Powell of Inman; niece Casey Johnson (Dillon) of Inman; nephews, Brandon Lundeen (Katie) of Inman and Gabriel Powell of Inman; great nephews, Hunter, Christopher, and Thomas; great nieces, Makaylia, Abby, and Isabelle who he loved with all his heart.  They were the joy in his eyes.  He is also survived by his dogs Cotton and Poo.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Green Creek First Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Jim Hooper, Rev. Jerry Darnell and Rev. Barry Looper.  The family will receive friends in the church following the graveside.

Robert, you were loved.  When we get to heaven, I know you will be waiting on heaven's shore for us.  We all love you.  A special thanks to Danny Smith who was there to help Robert to the end.  Robert loved him like a brother.  A special thanks to Jane Smith for all the food, love, and support she gave to Robert.

The family is at their respective homes.
