Rev. Thompson, Chris and Family: I just caught the obituary on Mike. I sure did enjoy having Mike in class at Landrum High. He was a student that I really liked. I hadn't seen Mike in several years, but always thought a lot of him. He was a quiet student that always had a smile and something good to say. He will surely be missed. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this fine and outstanding man. I've only had the pleasure of knowing Mike for a few months while working with him in North Carolina but we became very good friends. My heart was broken when I heard the news of his passing. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

One really sweet man with such a kind heart. So glad I knew him and had the opportunity to see him and speak just last week. He was just an easy going person who made me smile. He will me missed.
