I can't express how much I appreciate the everything that Laverne did for my family. My kids especially remember the chocolate pound cakes. Bucky loved the rolls and didn't mind asking her when she was going to make some more. She was even our "doctor on call" sometimes. Her friendship with Nell Jones was very special to all of us. There are no words to describe what an impact she made on our lives and we are blessed from having her in our lives.

Reggie and Cheryl, this is a wonderful tribute to your mother, she sounds like a great lady. I pray God's arms embrace her family during this time of sorrow. I know how much Laverne loved her boys, I've always wondered how she possibly lived through raising you three. Especially Reggie and Jerry. God bless her!
