Cindy - Smooth travels to Emil as he steps into the next journey. I did not know him except through your own amusing stories to all of us nurses at the hospice house. I hope you are keeping well. Best, Barbara

Cindy and family, my deepest sympathy for all of you at this time. Emil was a true gentleman in every regard except one. I don't believe he ever forgave me for casting you, Cindy, in the role of Cherie in Bus Stop and encouraging your magnificent performance of "Old Black Magic" while dancing on the counter. He always appeared outraged but I think he secretly enjoyed it along with the rest of us. Savor the memories.

Cindy,I was so sorry to read of Emil's death. Haven't heard anything from you --or of you in a long time so seeing the notice was such a surprise. I still have fond memories of the wonderful Christmas trip we made to New York. Emil was such a gracious host---showing us around and seeing that we had such a good experience. I'm sorry you have lost someone who's been such an important part of your life for so long. Please know I'm thinking of you.

Am sad to hear of Emil's passing. I met him at Adelphi Academy in Brooklyn, NY in 1941 --- we went through grade school together and then spent 4 years at The Hill School together. Last met with him and Cindy in Montreal --- must be at least 10 years ago. Lots of fond memories of a very much earlier time.
Tovarich! Dear Friend.
