Elaine was very dear to me. A few years back we lost touch with each other but she remained in my heart and memory. Our families were only neighbors for a year in Asheville, but we stopped to see you and you came to see us in Florida. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Pam and Steve, I was visiting my son and his family in New York when I got Diane and Mickey's emails about Aunt Elaine's death. You have my deepest condolences and prayers. I'm sure it has been so hard to see your mother grow ill and unable to be her normal self over the past few years. Thinking of you as you go through the next few days.
