Bobby Campbell

Bobby Campbell, 75, of Saluda, NC passed away on April 20, 2016.  He was the son of the late Ollis and Gladys Henderson Campbell and loving husband of Janice Summey Campbell.

He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.  He was the manager of Freeman Gas in Lake Lure.  He served in the US Army and the US Air Force and was a 42 year member of VFW Post 10349 in Mill Spring.

He is survived by a daughter, Janet Clayton and husband Dean of Fairview, NC; three sisters Peggy Summey of Saluda, Linda O'Sullivan of Campobello and Martha McSwain of Campobello; five granddaughters, Kendra Dillingham, Josie Clayton, Gracie Clayton, Maggie Clayton and Hayden Clayton; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Friday, April 22, 2016 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Piney Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. James Shields and Rev. Randy Metcalf.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to VFW post 10349 in Mill Spring.  The family is at his home.
