Dear Mickey, Baron, Travis, Penny, Bobby, Jacqueline and family; I know I sent cards and dropped by but never left sentiments here. I could not express my thoughts without becoming emotional. Betty meant much to me and was the best of friends. We enjoyed doing nothing together, she was special. Her smile, personality, Grace, charm, beauty. She was a true southern phenomenon. I miss her as I know we all do. She was first person I ever remember cutting my hair, and I was Baron' s first customer, I think, well I know for color, lol. My hair was Marilyn Monroe ish. Never been blonde before. Lol. Landrum is not same without her. Love you all and I feel sometimes like she us in the Shoppe, Jacqueline is so much like her. And now 3 generations have cut my hair! We were so saddened to hear of Betty's passing. We will always remember her for her friendliness and sweet smile, both in high school and later years. We were blessed to know her and will miss her. Our condolences to her family.

Mickey and family, Betty was a wonderful person. A person who stands out, but she wasn't trying to.. Everyone loved her the bright smile. She was a wonderful classmate.
I was sorry to hear of her passing. Betty will be with her loved ones on the other side.. O know Micky and the entire family are going to miss her. Travis and Baron, I know that she loved you. Betty started cutting my hair in 1977. She was the first hairdresser to ever cut my hair and the only one to cut it more than one time before Baron started cutting it. I will miss Betty dearly. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers. Much love, Lillie

Betty was my high school classmate, a wonderful friend, and a very caring person. I have no recollection of ever seeing her frown or being cross with anyone. She was a joy and blessing to all that knew her during her life's journey.

Normally I don't have a problem finding words, but I stumble on even how to address you all.....please forgive me.
Dear Family (each and every one of you), I was shocked to hear of Betty's passing. The last time I saw her (with Penny and Carol) she was so vibrant! She looked wonderful! She was having a good time with her sisters in Spartanburg, listening to some wonderful live music. She was such a good soul! She was always so kind to me. I know you all will miss her immensely. I pray you will be able to take some comfort in the memories and life that you shared. A life well lived and loved.
