Jimmy Lee Rumsey

Jimmy Lee Rumsey, 67, of Inman passed away January 16, 2016.  He was son of the late  James and Evelyn Harrison Rumsey and husband of the late Jane Jones Rumsey.  He was a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and spent his career in the Textile Industry.  He was also an accomplished musician.

He is survived by a son, Grant Rumsey and wife Amanda; a daughter, Julia Winters and husband Nathan; and four granddaughters, Madeline and Delanie Winters and Emmaline and Elizabeth Rumsey.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Petty Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Henry Stanford. 

Memorials may be made to the  SRHS Foundation, Gibbs Cancer Center, 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC  29303.

The family is at the home of Julia and Nathan Winters, 108 Flat Tail Way, Greer, SC.
