Wanda Ballew Jackson

Wanda Ballew Jackson, 74, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024.  She was the daughter of the late Hoyt and Magdalene Sawyer Ballew and the wife of Larry Jackson.  Wanda was a retired rural mail carrier.

Survivors include a daughter Carmen Foy (Shane); step daughters Donna Browning (Rick), Lisa Lake (Jonathan) and a step son Larry Jackson, Jr (Ashley).; a sister Carolyn Pierce (Everett); grandchildren; Colby Carson, Mason Foy (Olivia), Drew Carson (Zach), Cam Carson (Taylor), Harper and Jasper Jackson; Chris Shields (Amber), Nikki Smith (Travis); and great grandchildren Kylan, Kash, Kaibe, Case, Aiden and Jase.

She was predeceased by two brothers Ray and Garland Ballew; a son William "Kelly" Carson who passed away the day before and a great grandson Kreed Dean Carson.

Affectionately known as Wawa since 1992, she was a wonderful mom, Wawa and friend and will be missed tremendously.  

A joint visitation will be held for she and her son on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm at Petty Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Good Shepherd Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Bill Harris.
