Virginia Morgan

Virginia Lindsey Shipman Morgan, 86, of Travelers Rest passed away on March 20, 2021.  She was the daughter of Harvey and Levada Mullinax Lindsey.  She was first married to James W. Shipman, then to Bob Morgan both of whom predeceased her.

She was a member of Tuxedo Baptist Church and was a retired legal secretary.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha Powell and Angela Shipman Morgan; two brothers Glenn LIndsey and Harvey J. Lindsey both of the Hendersonville area; four grandchildren Allan Justice, Kyle Justice, Jessica Shipman and Kourtney Morgan Looper; and 5 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter Portia Shipman Justice; a son James Wesley "Jimmy" Shipman and a sister Mildred Nix.

A memorial service will be held on April 2, 2021 at 2:00pm at Petty Funeral Chapel conducted by Jesse Owenby.
