Vernita "Bunny" Ruth (Monteith) Brelsford

Vernita "Bunny" Ruth Monteith Brelsford, 65, passed away on September 13, 2023.  She was the daughter of the late Eugene Warren Monteith and the late June Laverne Hickman Monteith.  She was the wife of Terry Jay Brelsford.

She was a member of Campobello First Baptist Church and formerly worked as the Clerk Adminstrator for the City of Landrum.  She lived for her family.  She was the most loving, caring and devoted wife and mother that anyone could ever ask for.

In addition to her husband Terry, she is survived by her sons, Brian Eugene Brelsford and Corwin Brant Brelsford (Claire); her brothers, Eugene Montieth, Jr. and Dwayne Monteith; and her seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 10:00AM Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM in the Petty Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Sean McKaig.  Burial will take place at a later date in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
