Terry Barton

Terry Evans Barton, 68, of Landrum, SC, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. 

Born in Spartanburg County, he was the son of Mack Barton and the late Bobbie Jean Price Barton. A graduate of Chapman High School, Terry earned his bachelor's degree from Clemson University. He retired from the United States Post Office as a mail carrier. Terry enjoyed yard work and his koi pond. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. 

Surviving are his wife, Tammi Anderson Barton; his father, Mack Barton (Jean); a son, William Barton; a sister, Kathy Barton; a grandchild, Luci Barton; nephews, Kyle Barton and Jason Keisler. Also surviving are special people who are dear to Terry and Tammi, Alexis Bryant, Jayden Bryant, and Gloria Gann. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Lynn Stewart officiating. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 6:00p.m. to 7:30p.m. at Petty Funeral Home. 

Burial will be at Motlow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
