Susan Kahl

Susan Frazier Kahl, 69, of Campobello, SC, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Upstate Community Hospice House. 

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Juanita Roach Frazier. Susan loved teaching, as she was a professor of sociology and psychology at North Greenville University. She also loved being a grandmother to her grandchildren. Susan also enjoyed cooking and crafts. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Landrum. 

Surviving are her husband, William Kahl; a son, Douglas Kahl (Beth); a daughter, Paula Stiefel (Shane Campanile); a brother, Steve Frazier; a sister, Sandra Lethco (Jeff);  four grandchildren, Calista Kahl, Ember Kahl, Alina Kahl, and Sheridan Campanile. Also surviving is a great-grandson, Buddy Picard III.  

A funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Landrum with Rev. Jeff Lethco officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00p.m. - 2:00p.m. prior to the service. 

Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
