Shirley Jean Ezell Davis

Shirley Jean Ezell Davis, 83, went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2022 at her home in Roebuck, SC.  She born in Cherokee County to the late Charles Edgar and Mary Lucille Lovin Ezell.

She was of the Baptist faith and retired from the J.P. Stevens Textile Plant.

She is survived by her special daughters, Brittney Beach (Devin) and Debra Lopez (Salvador Gonzalez); a son, Randy Ezell (Sandy Leopard); two sisters, Phyllis Ezell (Billy Edgins) and Betty Crisp; a brother, Cecil Ezell.  She also lives on in twenty four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Richard Bruce Ezell; a brother, Charles H. Ezell, Sr.; a sister, Kay Parris and a special granddaughter, Olivia Dawn Martin. 

The family will receive friends Friday, October 7, 2022 from 1:00PM-2:00PM at Petty Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow in the Petty Funeral Chapel conducted by Chaplain Darnell Durrah.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Debra Lopez.
