Shirley Ann (Duncan) Culbreth Easter

Shirley Duncan Culbreth Easter of Boiling Springs, SC passed away on Friday, November 8th, 2024 at her home. Born in Spartanburg she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Creda Cook Duncan.

Shirley was a lot of different things to many people. A good listener with a compassionate heart, a counselor with a shoulder to cry on, a great advisor and quick to tell you when you were wrong. If a good kick was needed she could do that as well. She always had a great love and a special way of connecting and playing with all children. A play date with Shirley was always a fun and memorable time. Mostly she was loved by all and will be dearly missed. 

She dedicated many years working as a cell loader for Toledo Scales in Inman, SC.

Surviving are her husband Gary Lee Easter; a son Darren Wayne Culbreth, a daughter Pamela Morris Massey; two stepchildren, Joshua Easter and Dena Berley; a brother Donald Duncan; two sisters, Lois Hicks and Joyce Brown; four grandchildren, Jason Morgan, Christopher Morgan, Victoria Hammitt, and Chelsea Blackwell. Also surviving are six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents Shirley was predeceased by a brother David Duncan.

A celebration of life will be held at Petty Funeral Home on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
