Shirley Camp

Shirley Jean Camp, 89, of Travelers Rest, SC, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at her home.

Born in Landrum, SC, she was the daughter of the late Emsley and Ethel Pruitt Belue. Shirley was the widow of Jackson Lee Camp who passed away in 2005. Shirley loved her family and also enjoyed going to church, shopping, cooking, and baking. 

Surviving are three sons, Terry Camp, Rick Camp, and Tim Camp (Angie); a daughter, Debbie Smith (David); a brother, Gene Belue; a sister, Brenda Camp. Also surviving are six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. 

Shirley was predeceased by a grandson, Derrick Camp. 

A funeral service will be held at 3:00p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Petty Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Atkins officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00p.m. - 3:00p.m. prior to the service. 

Burial will be in Campobello First Baptist Church Cemetery.
