Sheila Steadman Rhoden

Sheila Steadman Rhoden, 64, of Landrum, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on October 8, 2024.  She was the daughter of the late Earl Lee and Doris Stott Steadman and wife of Keith Rhoden.

She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.  She enjoyed serving, especially at church and delivering mobile meals.  She also had a love for teaching, spending 31 years teaching at OP Earle.  Her biggest love was family; her husband never left her side.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Rhoden; a daughter Megan Rhoden Swift (James); a son Landon Rhoden (Ashley); four grandchildren Abrie, Gracie, Melody and Corban Rhoden; and a sister Virginia Denton (Wayne).

She was predeceased by a brother Rickie Steadman.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am Friday, October 11, 2024 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Columbus, NC.  Funeral service will follow at 11:00 at the church conducted by Rev. Landon Rhoden and Rev. Jeremy McCarver.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
