Sandra Ann Rutherford

The funeral service will be held at Petty Funeral Home today, November 25, 2025 at 11:00 due to inclement weather.    
 

Sandra Ann Rutherford, 79, of Greer went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2025.  She was the loving mother of Dee Annette Mayes and daughter of the late Adolphus and Ida Cora Evington Newman.

She was a member of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church and worked at Nelson-Mullins Law Firm.

She is survived by a brother Jerry Newman; two grandchildren Kimberly Brown and Brandon Scott Duncan; and her beautiful great grandchildren whom she loved deeply.

She was predeceased by her daughter Dee Annette Mayes; three brothers Ricky, Bobby and Jackie Newman and a sister Elizabeth "Dolly" Mosley.

The family will have a graveside service at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Bill McManus.
