Ruth McMillan Wilson

Ruth McMillan Wilson, 92, of Landrum passed away at her home on November 30. 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Perry and Mary McMakin McMillan and wife of the late Ansel "Bud" Wilson.

She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and   a woman of strong faith.  She was the manager of Wilson's Plumbing Company for many years and a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons Freddie Wilson (Carolyn) and Ronnie Wilson; a daughter, Mary Charlene Madore (Steve) ; a daughter-in-law Teresa Wilson;  3 grandchildren Wendy, Tiffany, and Kelsey. She had  many great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Michael Wilson; a brother Fred McMillan; a granddaughter Patricia Lynn and  a grandson, Kristopher John.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Lynn Stewart.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Upstate Community Hospice House, 260 Fairwinds Road, Landrum, SC 29356.
