Ruth Turner Henson, 94, of Landrum passed away on August 3, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Talmadge and Bertha Howard Turner and wife of the late Glenn Theron Henson.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gowensville and retired from Springs Industries after 42 years.
She is survived by a daughter Glenda Wooten (Andy); two grandchildren Tommy Wooten (Heather) and Angie Center (Kevin); three great grandchildren Mikey, Destiny and Shylee Wooten; and the special neighbors who checked on her almost every day.
She was predeceased by four brothers and a sister Tony Turner, Dusty Turner, Carl Slab Turner, Will Turner and Agnes Crain.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Thursday, August 8, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Gowensville. Funeral services will follow in the church sanctuary at 3:00pm conducted by Rev. Josh Phillips. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family is at the home of Glenda and Andy Wooten, 106 Wood Drive, Landrum.
