Roy Lee Taylor

Roy Lee Taylor, 92, of Clinton, TN formerly of Columbus, NC passed away on December 2, 2023. He was the son of the late George S. and Clara Owens Taylor. He was the husband of the late Emogene Johnson Taylor.

He is survived by three sons Garry Lee Taylor, Darryl Taylor, and Rickey Lee Taylor; son-in-law Roger Walker and wife Miriam Guffey Walker; 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Deborah Taylor Walker.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 pm Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Randy Metcalf and Dr. Darryl Taylor. Burial will be in Melvin Hill Church Cemetery.
