Roy G. Magnuson III

Roy Gardner Magnuson III, of Campobello, passed from his earthly pilgrimage to the celestial kingdom on November 20, 2020.  He was the son of the late Roy Gerald and Shirley Lee Gardner Magnuson.

A Baptist minister and evangelist, he was a graduate of Bob Jones University and received his Masters of Theology from Bethany Divinity College and Seminary.  Roy was a facilitator of Return of  Jesus Christian Schools in Faisalabad and Clarkabad, Pakistan and the founder and director of MUSE Ministries, which distributes scriptural calligraphy in homes and churches.  He was an avid Bible scholar and a bold defender of the faith..

Roy is survived by two sons, Josiah Magnuson (LeeAnn) and John Magnuson; two daughters, Stephanie Magnuson and Cecelia Magnuson; a brother, Ron Magnuson and four sisters, Ruth Magnuson-Glines, Rachel Anderson, Rebecca Magnuson and Rhoda McGill.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Dr. Nicky Chavers.  Burial will be in Shiloh Memorial Cemetery.
