Robert N. Slagle

Robert Nelson Slagle, 80, of Green Creek passed away on May 16 2023.  He was the son of the late Robert and Bertha Croft Slagle and husband of Jayne Rhodes Slagle.

He served in the US Army and retired from Southern Bell.

He is survived by his wife, Jayne Slagle; three sons Robert William Slagle, Tommy Joe Slagle, and James Metcalf; two daughters Marianne Burdison and Teresa Reinhardt; a sister Grace Miller; seven grandchildren Kristin & Tiffany Slagle, Joey Gosma, Danielle Reinhardt, Tommy Reinhardt, Caleb Metcalf and Isaac Metcalf; five great grandchildren Autumn McCurry, Everett Reinhardt, Weston Reinhardt, Kaley Reinhardt and Austin Reinhardt.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Fork Creek Baptist Church.   A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm at the church conducted by Rev. Jimmy Metcalf.
