Robert L. Mitchell

Robert Leon Mitchell, 72, of Campobello passed away on September 6, 2023.  He was the son of the late Clarence and Virginia Eudy MItchell and husband of Michelle Winkler Ayers.

He was the owner of Mitchell Sales.  Bob loved his family, fast cars, flying birds, and all his furry friends, most of which he named "Bowser".

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Ayers; four daughters Kristin Mitchell, Lora Ann Helms, Taylor Peel and Lauren Burnett; a sister Nellie Brooks; and two grandchildren Tucker Helms and Lillie Jean Helms.

He was predeceased by a sister Donna Austin.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
