Rita Faye Burns

Rita Faye Burns, 68, of Landrum passed away on May 11, 2026.   She was the daughter of the late J.C. Norris and Earline Pace Norris.

She is survived by a daughter Crystal Denton (Jason); a son Justin Burns (Corrie); two brothers Mike Norris (Susan) and Jay Norris (Laura); three sisters Gail Atkins (Wayne), Lisa Good (Dennis), Cindy Yarbrough (Scott); five grandchildren John, Aaden, Amelia, Maggie and Everett.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Clayton and Ellen Pace and Alice Norris; and the father of her children Jerry Burns.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 Monday, May 18, 2026 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church.   Funeral services will follow at the church at 1:45 pm.

Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
