Richard Paul Hutchins

Richard Paul Hutchins, 75, of Landrum passed away on March 28, 2026.  He was the son of the late Ben Franklin and Annie Mae Harris Hutchins.

He worked at Bommer Hinge.

He is survived by a daughter Candie Pruitt; a sister Jean Terrio; four brothers Kenneth Hutchins (Rita), Ricky Hutchins (Glenda), Ronnie Hutchins (Teresa) and Bennie Hutchins (Casey); two grandchildren Cayden and Ellie Pruitt; a special friend Tammy Hutchins; a special niece Michelle Moody; a special nephew Jerry Morgan; and many other nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister Janice Morgan and two brothers Marvin and Roger Hutchins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Petty Funeral Home from 3:00-4:00pm.  a funeral service will follow at 4:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Dr. Tommy Turner.
