Raymond “Ray” Joseph Ostrowski

Mr. Ray Ostrowski, 65, loving husband of Karen Mott Ostrowski, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, following a brief battle with cancer.

Born in Southgate, MI, he was a son of the late Felix Ostrowski and the late Rhea LaReau Ostrowski. Mr. Ostrowski was a graduate of Gabriel Richard Catholic High School of Riverview, MI.  He was the owner and operator of multiple businesses throughout his lifetime and remained close and dedicated to his team. He was a hard-working man who loved his family and friends fearlessly. 

Ray’s kindness and sense of humor made everyone feel at home in his presence. His home was a sanctuary for all who visited. He was especially endeared for his love of his cherished dogs, enjoying the outdoors and his passion for Ferraris. He never turned down the opportunity to cherish a good cigar with friends and will be dearly missed for his unending wisdom and investment in the lives of others.  Everything Ray touched, he improved.  One moment with him and your life was better.

Surviving, in addition to his precious wife, is a sister, Rhea “Kitty” Ostrowski of Wellston, Michigan, a brother, Albert of Belleville, Michigan, a stepdaughter, Lauren Seidhom (Marco) of Simpsonville, South Carolina and a precious grandson, Alexander. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ostrowski was predeceased by a loved stepdaughter, Alicia Michele Rampey.

A private service will be held at a later date.
