Raymond Newman

Raymond Lee Newman, 88, of Campobello passed away June 13, 2025 at his home.  A native of Polk County NC he was son of the late Alex and Addie Fisher Newman and widower of Patricia Belcher Newman he was a recieving clerk for Bommer Industries for 37 years.

Survivors include two sons Marvin Newman and Mark Newman; a daughter Marcell Newman; four grandchildren Eric Newman, Andrew Newman, Mackenzie Newman and Jonathan Gonzalez; and  ten great grandchildren Brentley, McKinley, River, Amelia, Anelia, Piper, Isaiah, Naevia, Ellie, and Nixie.

He was pre deceased by five brothers Ernest Newman, James Newman, Claude Newman, Leon Newman and Floyd Newman; six sisters Janette McGraw, Edith Harris, Evelyn Wilburn, Sybil Ridings, Genieva Jones and Maybel Newman.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30 Tuesday June 17, 2025 at Petty Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm at North Pacolet Cemetery conducted by Rev. Sean McKaig
