Ray H. Flynn

Ray Hines Flynn, 88, of Landrum, SC passed away on December 28, 2025.  He was the son of the late James Walker and Sadie Hines Flynn and husband of Gail Lisle Flynn.

He retired from the Spartanburg County Sheriffs Office as Lt. of the Civil Processing Division.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Landrum.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Flynn; a son Jimmy Flynn (Chanda) and a grandson Ethan Flynn.

He was predeceased by two brothers Leo and Donell Flynn and two sisters Sarah Brown and Hope Hipp.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45am Wednesday December 31, 2025 at Petty Funeral Home.   Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Mark Bishop.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
