Randy Laughter

James Randall "Randy" Laughter, 66, of Landrum passed away on March 7, 2021.  He was the son of the late Jesse and Lillie May Medley Laughter and husband of Crystal Hamrick Laughter.

He was self-employed and hauled bedding to local horse farms.  He worked in finish carpentry for 10 years.  Randy played softball for several local teams and was known as "The Hammer" on the fields.  He participated in Civil War re-enactments for many years and was an avid Tarheel fan.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Laughter; his son, Luke Laughter; a special uncle Rick Medley and a special friend Doug Giles.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:30pm Friday, March 12, 2021 at Petty Funeral Home.
