Ralph Edward Splawn, 89, of Inman, SC, died February 21, 2024 at the SRHS Hospice Home. He was the son of Grady and Arrie Willingham Splawn.
He is survived by his son Keith Splawn (Judy), devoted friend Faye Mitchell, three sisters Frances Burris, Betty Johnson, and Shirley (Heiko) Meyer, brother-in-law Grady (Madelyn) Smith, sister-in-law Sharon Smith Clarke, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years Patsy Smith Splawn, his son Gary Splawn, sister Eunice Splawn, and brother Carl Splawn.
Ralph was an active member of Melvin Hill Church. He was owner/operator of Splawn Egg Farm and served in the National Guard.
Not only was Ralph dearly loved by the Splawn, Smith, and Holcomb families, but by his church family and community.
The family will receive friends at Melvin Hill Church from 2:00-3:00pm Tuesday, February 27, 2024 and funeral services will follow visitation. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Melvin Hill Church or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
