Philip Ray Waldrop

UPDATED SERVICE TIMES AND LOCATION - DUE TO HEAT

Philip Ray Waldrop, 73, was born August 17, 1951 to the late Woodrow Wilson and Nell Skinner Waldrop. He passed away peacefully at Spartanburg Regional Hospital on June 19, 2025.

He is survived by his son Jeremy Philip Waldrop (Rhonda); his brother Sam Waldrop (Barbara); his sister Linda Williams (Hugh); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother James Waldrop and sister Sarah Waldrop.  

He retired from Spartanburg Communications.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 10:00-11:00AM at Petty Funeral Home, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00AM conducted by Rev. Paul Edwards. A private burial will be held for the family.
