Patricia Tucker, age 80, of Landrum, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025 surrounded by family. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and strength that will live on through generations.
A devoted wife to the late Gene Tucker, Patricia was a Godly woman whose unwavering faith guided her every step. She was a spirited woman who never hesitated to speak her mind and love with her whole heart.
She was the proud and loving mother of Gary Tucker(Marilyn Tucker) and Les Tucker (Beth Tucker), who carry forward her strength and values. Patricia was also a cherished Nanny to her granddaughters, Nikki Ayers (Josh Ayers) and Danielle Tucker, and a beloved great-grandmother to Tucker Ayers, Hootie Ayers, and Parker Tucker. She is also survived by her sister Linda Shehan. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured herself into them with fierce devotion and endless love.
Patricia's home was a place of warmth, humor, and honest conversation. She had a sharp wit, a big heart, and a deep sense of loyalty to those she loved. She taught us to be strong, to trust in God, and to face life with courage and grace.
Though she is no longer with us, her laughter, love, and legacy will remain in our hearts forever. We rejoice in knowing she is reunited with Gene and resting in the peace of her Savior.
She was predeceased by a sister Ruby W. Ravan; and five brothers JO Walker, Jr., Frank Walker, Richard "Jiggs" Walker, Charles Walker and Birton Walker.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:30am Monday, May 5 2025 at Petty Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 11:30 in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Lynn Stewart. Burial will be in Morgan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation of dog food in honor of her 3 canine companions who she loved dearly.
