Orville Skaggs, Jr.

Orville Wilson Skaggs, Jr., 77, of Inman, SC, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024. 

Born in Grayson, KY, he was the son of the late Orville Wilson Skaggs, Sr. and Ruth Isaacs Skaggs. He was the widower of Diane Skaggs, who passed away in 2017. Orville was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed the guitar and models, also collecting John Deere Tractors and knives. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. 

Surviving are three sons, John H. Skaggs, Richard Allen Skaggs (Patricia), and Marc A. Skaggs (Ericka); siblings, Dale, Donald, Karl, and Mary. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Kira Skaggs. 

In addition to his parents and wife, Orville was predeceased by siblings, Doug, Karen, and Gail. 

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm, Monday, October 21, 2024 at Petty Funeral Home.
