Oran Euell Sprouse

Oran Euell Sprouse, 79, of Honea Path, SC, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at his home. 

Born in Valley Falls, SC, he was the son of the late Carl Roy and Annie Ora Cox. Oran loved to play golf, and he also enjoyed hunting, gardening, and his dogs. 

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Della Spicer Sprouse; two sons, Daniel Sprouse of Cooley Springs and Douglas Wofford of Spartanburg; two daughters, Martha Johnson (Michael Blackwell) of Chesnee, and Denise Gilchrist (Paul) of Spartanburg; three brothers, Carl Roy Sprouse, Jr. of Monks Corner, Jimmy Sprouse of Boiling Springs, and Michael Sprouse (Lynette) of Boiling Springs. Also surviving are three granchildren, Justin Johnson of Inman, Cody Patterson (Jason) of Boiling Springs, and Sarah Sprouse of Landrum. 

In addition to his parents, Oran was preceded in death by his grandparents, Luther and Molly Cox, and three siblings, Herbert, Lewis, and Sondra Ann.
