Oakland Lane McMillan, infant son of Anna-Shai and Thomas McMillan passed away on June 27, 2022.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Everleigh Lynn McMillan of the home; maternal grandparents: Crystal and Wendall Murph of Inman, Danny and Maria Steadings of Campobello; Paternal grandparents Henry and Kim McMillan of Campobello; maternal great grandparents: Ronald and Betty McCutcheon of Gowensville, Randy and Suzanne Kissinger of Bostic, NC, Elaine Wisham of Roebuck, SC and Bruce Murph of Boiling Springs; paternal great grandparents Jean Porter of Inman, SC, Merlyn Willard of Spartanburg and Patty McMillan of Macon, GA.; uncle Jay Steadings (Heather) of Lyman; uncle Nathan McCutcheon (Victoria) of Greer; uncle Noah Murph of Honea Path, aunt Kensi Edwards (DJ) of Spartanburg; uncle Jaleb Murph of Woodruff, aunt Kayla West of Woodruff, uncle Easton Murph of Inman, aunt Rebekah Fowler (Ray) of Campobello, aunt Katherine McMillan of Campobello and uncle Nathan McMillan of Campobello; and special cousins Langston Steadings of Lyman, Andrew Gray and Avery Fowler of Campobello and Ansleigh McCutcheon of Greer.
He was predeceased by maternal great grandparents David W. Hawkins, Sr., Joan & Larry Weaver and Norman & Bertha Steadings; paternal great grandparents Kenneth Porter, Stanley Willard and Henry McMillan, Sr.
Family will be at the home of his uncle Jay Steadings 261 Newman Drive, Lyman, SC 29365.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Friday, July 1, 2022 at Motlow Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Robbie Dodd and Rev. Terry Rainey. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00-3:00pm at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan McMillan and Jay Steadings.
