Nellie Magaha

Nellie Peavy Magaha, 88, of Campobello, SC went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 4, 2022.

She was the daughter of the late Wade and Lois Wilbanks Peavy and the widow of William Henry Magaha. Nellie was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Nellie was predeceased by three brothers, Jack Peavy, Frank  Peavy, and Larry “Buck” Peavy, and a sister, Mary Seegars.

Surviving are a son, Jerry Magaha (Rachel) of Shelby, NC; a sister, Betty Floyd of Laurens, SC; two grandchildren, Erika McKelvey (Derrill) and Jerry Spangler (Karen); three great grandchildren, Haley, Cassie, and Sammy; a special niece, Carolyn Simmons and several other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church, Campobello, SC with Dr. Henry Johnson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm – 2:00pm prior to the service.

Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Landrum, SC.
