Nannie "Nan" (Wofford) Coates

Nannie "Nan" W. Coates, 90, of Inman, SC, wife of the late James E. Coates, Sr, passed away
October 6, 2024, at Restoration of Westgate. Born June 16th, 1934, in Fairforest, SC. Nan was the
daughter of Charlie and Evie Wofford of Wellford, SC. She was a member of Inman First Freewill
Baptist Church and retired from being self-employed as a caregiver.
She is survived by one son Ronald (Shirley) Coates of Woodruff, SC; one grandson; one great
granddaughter; and one great grandson of Arizona. In addition to her husband and parents she was
preceded in death by one son, James "Jimmy" E. Coates, Jr. of Arizona; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 2:00pm at Good Shepherd Memorial
Park officiated by Rev. Sean Fortner and Rev. Grover Timms.

Inman, SC 29349
