Nancy (Fain) McEntire Durham

Nancy Fain McEntire Durham, 93, of Tryon, NC (formerly of Green Creek), passed away on January 25, 2025.  She was the daughter of the late Earl and Myrtle Skinner Fain.  She was the wife of the late Jervey F. Durham, Sr. and was first married to the late Harold H. McEntire.

She was a member of Mill Creek Church and devoted Christian lady.  Nancy was loved deeply by her family and everyone that knew her. 

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Tenney (Skee), Sandi Foster (Perry), and Wanda Fischer; a step daughter, Annette Mucciolo; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by a son, Ricky Harold McEntire; a granddaughter, Caroline Ramsey; her brothers, Edward and Billy Fain; her sisters, Edith Loftis, Wilma Varner, Amy Richardson, Elizabeth Coley, Vesta Culbreth and Sybil Fain.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 2:00 - 3:00PM at Petty Funeral Home where the funeral service will follow at 3:00PM conducted by Rev. Andy Parker.  There will be a private burial in the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
