Misty Flatford

Misty Kim Flatford, 47, of Inman, SC, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. 

Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of Robert Anthony McCarter and  Diane Hawkins. A simple person, Misty enjoyed music, movies (especially horror movies), reading, being outdoors, and her cat "Junior". 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two children, Brent Flatford and Samantha Flatford, and two grandchildren, Evangeline Isla Barnes and Penelope Grace Barnes. Also surviving is an aunt, Lynn McCarter Stepp. 

Misty was predeceased by a brother, Steven McCarter; grandparents, Olin and Brenda Barton and R.G. and Barbara McCarter and her stepfather Robert Hawkins.
