Michael Joe "Mike" Austin, 65, of Landrum passed away on September 9, 2022. He was the son of the late Joe and Marie Austin and husband of Lisa Austin.
He was a retired contractor of 45 years.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lisa Plumley Austin; four children Joseph Austin of Swannanoa, NC, Casey Greene (Brent) of Landrum, Heather Moseley (James) of Campobello and Caleb Austin (Larisa) of Boiling Springs, SC; 10 grandchildren Courtany Austin, Chloe Harris (Tyler), Cierra Austin (Nate), Cyndi Joe Austin, Asher Moseley, Emily Greene, Chapin Austin, Micah Moseley, Eli Greene and Elowen Moseley; three great grandchildren Marleigh Austin, Audrey Harris and Jaxtyn Schau; a sister Brenda Plumley; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three sisters Joanne McKinney, Polly Sowers and Carolyn Austin.
The family will have a private service.
