Max Dean Weaver Obituary

Max Dean Weaver, 80, husband of Rose Weaver, died Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

Born in Green Creek he was the son of the late Daniel Weaver and the late Ora Sellars.

Dean was a retired truck driver having driven for Hess Oil Co. for more than 40 years. He also enjoyed training horses.

In addition to his wife of 54 years he is survived by a son, Jeffrey Alan Weaver (Katie); three grandsons, Jeffrey Dean Weaver, Angus Daniel Weaver and Shane Wofford; a sister, Jeanette W. Jackson.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Weaver and a sister, Pauline Weaver Hyder.

The family will receive friends at a reception held in Dean's honor on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 5 to7 PM at Petty Funeral Home.
