Mattie Searcy

Mattie Sue Blackwell Searcy, 76, of Spartanburg passed away on March 10, 2023.  She was the daughter of the late Barry and Margaret Ezell Blackwell and wife of the late Walter Searcy.

She is survived by three daughters Cheryl Hall, Wanda Bear and Amy Russell; two brothers Pete Blackwell and Bobby Blackwell; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two sisters Sara Gilbert and Mollie Gilbert and a brother Franklin Blackwell.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday March 11, 2023 at Petty Funeral Chapel.  The family will receive friends following the service.
