Matthew Joseph Miner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, father, and friend. His legacy is survived by his father, Mark; mother, Michelle (Cody); sister, Megan (Joseph); his son, Paxton Kash (10), and his daughter, Saylor Jade (9). Matthew is also survived by his loving grandparents, Joseph and Winnie Wind, Aunt Rene' Nash, Uncle Joey and Aunt Amy Wind, and cousins Paul Nash, Austin Proulx, and Danny and Greyson Wind.

Matthew Joseph Miner was born on December 1st, 1989, in Napa, California. He grew up in South Florida and later in South Carolina. He loved skateboarding and dirt bike racing and was incredibly talented at both. He had a tenderness with animals and a fondness for music. With charisma and radiant energy, he could easily make anyone laugh and had a beautiful smile. His personality was big, his heart for love and kindness was bigger.

Matt left this world on May 10, 2026. He is well-loved by the many paths he has crossed, and while we ache for a life taken too soon, we will find comfort in his peace in the ultimate paradise of Heaven.

Our whole family is privately grieving this loss together. The outpouring of love and support, your shared thoughts and prayers, have offered each of us a healing comfort, knowing that Matt's beautiful smile, silly antics, and big, loving heart and kindness touched so many people who knew him. Thank you for this.

To honor Matt's bright life and legacy, our family has chosen a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date, tentatively set for mid-July. Further details will be announced when we are ready.
