Obituary
Mary Jo Owens Rhymer, 88, of Landrum passed away on August 13, 2023. She was the daughter of the late William Sidney Owens and Alma McSwain Owens Prince.
She attended Bible Baptist Church and was retired from Shamrock Mills.
She is survived by her husband Fred C. Rhymer of 70 years; son Tim Rhymer (Cindy); brother Doug Prince (Lisa); three grandsons David Rhymer (Angela), Jonathan Rhymer (Caitlyn) and Andrew Rhymer (Lauren); and three great grandchildren Jaden, Lucas and Wyatt.
She was predeceased by her brother Pete Owens and her sister Peggy Orduna.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Bible Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am at the church conducted by Pastor Tommy Turner and Pastor Chuck Mullinax. Burial will be in Landrum Cemetery.
