Obituary
Mary Frances Ayers, 80, of Green Creek, NC passed away on May 13, 2023. She was the widow of Neil L. Ayers and daughter of the late Paul Covington and Marie Steadman Covington.
She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Carol Howell (Jeff); two grandchildren Faith Smith (Bobby) and John Howell; three brothers and two sisters.
She was predeceased by a sister and two brothers.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Wednesday May 17, 2023 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. There will be a private burial at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.
