Mary Ellen Wuerfel 

Mary Ellen, age 84, passed away on October 18th, 2023 in Boiling Springs, South Carolina after suffering from cancer.  She was preceded in death by her husband Tom, and her children from her first marriage, Deborah and Michael.

She was born in Loudonville, Ohio and spent many years in Toledo, Ohio working for General Motors.  She met Tom while working there and they were married in Hawaii in 1984.  When they retired they moved to Landrum, South Carolina.  She enjoyed artistic endeavors and spent many a day in the studio painting, sculpting and drawing.

Services will be held Saturday, November 11th, 2023 at Springs of Grace Lutheran Church in Inman at 11am.
